The Homestretch Club tickets we purchased were all-inclusive, but the event's logistics were poorly managed. Entry into the main track was quick, but the line to access the club was incredibly long. Despite hoping the line would move quickly, we ended up waiting for 45 minutes before reaching the crowded bar area. It took an additional 30 minutes to get drinks, only to find the food buffet nearly empty and about to close.
After enduring these initial challenges, the situation did improve as the lines shortened and the track's beauty became more apparent. However, there were still disappointments to come. We tried to get water at the bar, only to be informed that there was none left, and the all-inclusive deal had ended at 5pm. This meant having to pay $15 for a bourbon, which was frustrating considering there were still races left and no clear indication of when the all-inclusive service would end. Running out of water was particularly egregious and left us feeling unlikely to return to this deal in the future.
